BICYCLE PATROL AND ITS EFFECTIVENESS
In addition to various conventional methods
of patrolling, vehicles and foot patrol,
including golf cart patrol, we have found that
in today’s rapidly changing society,
conventional methods can be less effective.
In order to meet the increasing need of
effective security patrol in our rapidly
changing society, we implemented more
innovative patrol methods. We implemented
mountain bicycles because of their
versatility, mobility and durability.
While primarily a crime deterrent presence,
our bike patrol reaches out to the community
by creating dialogue and positive interaction.
Bike patrols have generated positive
feedback from our clients. Our clients feel
safer seeing a uniformed bike officer on
patrol. The visibility, mobility and
responsiveness of our patrol officers have
created friendly rapport within our client's
property and community.
While golf cart is an effective conventional
method of patrol, its success weighs less
than bike patrol due to the versatility and
mobility of a bike. We advice our clients on
all possible patrol options, conventional and
unconventional, and provide whichever
meets their security needs. Our patrol
officers undergo extensive training program
before being assigned to a client property.

commitment to training which begins from
the top. Our training methods have proven to
be successful over the years as we continue
to ensure that our officers remain motivated,
professional and service oriented.
All officers and management staff at Applied
Operations Security and Investigation
Services, Inc are licensed and or certified as
required by the State. Our officers undergo
background checks prior to being assigned
to a client site.
